Windows has a wonderful application switching tool [activated using alt+tab] but OS X has an even better one! Windows is far from reaching OS X's beauty but still is the most used OS as one can get almost anything in Windows OSes.
In this post I want to discuss about an application called Switcher. Switcher has a UI similar to that of the OS X switcher but can do much more.
One can choose how to activate Switcher, by default it is Shift+~. I activate is using the Alt+Tab.
Switcher has 3 views : Grid view, Dock view, Tile view.
Switcher also works flawlessly with the MultiMonitor feature in Windows 8.
Switcher also gives you a dynamic search feature. If there are too many screens open and if you want to open Word from all the screens all you need to do is activate switcher and press "W" and all other applications get filtered out.
Switcher can also be customized and custom colours can be applied.
