Microsoft doesn't seem the like the word Metro in its upcoming Windows 8. The Redmond giant has named it Modern UI. It has been pretty strict in checking how developers use it.
On Sunday Mozilla came up with a "pre-beta" or nightly build of Firefox calling it Firefox Metro. Well there starts the war as Microsoft sent 2 warnings to Mozilla Foundation to remove the Metro tag. After there was no reply, Microsoft withdrew its funding to Mozilla Corp. [Microsoft was one the the first companies to fund Mozilla]
Mozilla is dependent on donations and occasional funding from Google Inc. "We are not much affected by the withdrawal of 2 Penny worth of funds of course," the President of Mozilla Corp. said. Mozilla had earlier criticized Microsoft's monopoly tactics of not allowing any other browser in Windows 8 RT.
